From the Dust Returned...

It had been a while since I had left the world of blogdom, leaving only a shallow, i.e., practically nonexistent footprint to be covered by the dust of time.

I had good intentions with the creation of my short-lived blog born out of a genuine interest to connect with other Goths within the blogging community. It was also supposed to be a blog featuring various sketches, drawings, paintings, and other forms of art. I revamped the blog after suffering from serious writers’ block, eager for a fresh start to spur my creative juices.

Unfortunately, the lack of ideas, as well as the unpredictability of life forced me to delete the blog after a very short run. I decided that blogging wasn’t for me, joining others who slowly vanished from the radar.

However, as I continued on with life, I really felt the desire to write and share my opinions—no matter how ridiculous—with others. I found inspiration to write as I delved further in the subculture as well as my own outside interests, which I wish to touch on through writing this blog. Strange and sinister beauty can be found in many places.

As I write this, the trees are painted with golden yellows, oranges, and reds. The smell of spice and pumpkins permeates the air. The day will soon be consumed by the night.

October has arrived, and so have I.
